Church Links

We participate in Collective Worship daily, sometimes worship is led by the children, sometimes by staff, sometimes by visitors. All Collective Worship is centred around our Christian Values which are core to our Christian Ethos as a Church School.

St Peter & St Paul's Church - Rev Jonathan Hunter-Dunn

St. Peter & St. Paul Church

As a Christian school we visit our local Church, St. Peter and St. Paul Church, to celebrate major Christian Festivals. Often we will be joined by local infant schools in our worship. These services are planned and prepared by the children and staff in collaboration with the infant schools and Rev. Jonathan, who regularly visits our school to lead Collective Worship.

The church have recently established an 'Open the Book' team who lead our Worships once a term, focussing on particular Christian stories. These Worships are always fun, engaging and without doubt involve audience participation leaving a memorable way to start the day for all of us.

Shepton Mallet Baptist Church - Rev. Graham Dart

Rev. Dart regularly leads Collective Worship in our school. Worship is based around an on-going narrative which demonstrates a key theme and links into a Biblical story. Many of our children also benefit from the additional music lessons he offers in violin, guitar and piano/keyboard tuition.
